When our YouTube channel Line Rider Review took off suddenly in 2017 due to Line Rider suddenly going viral again, OTDE and I quickly put out two video essays (the first video essays about Line Rider ever made) to help people understand the state of Line Rider, something they likely hadn’t thought about in years. The first video was a crash course in Line Rider Terminology, the second was a dive into Line Rider history, philosophy, and culture, to argue that it was primarily an art medium that had been treated as a game, to its detriment over the long term.
Script, voiceover, and editing by Bevibel Harvey, with input and some supplementary voiceover from OTDE
