Projection Design

The projection design for this show involved creating a fake onstage computer.

The video was created by uploading the video to YouTube, dual booting my MacBook and recording the screen with Open Broadcasting Software, and editing the recordings in Adobe Premiere.

A computer tower and keyboard were placed on the set, and even connected to the projector and a wall outlet, but the projector was also connected to the computer that actually ran the show via QLab.

Sound Design

Bluetooth Speaker

All sounds and music were played from a Bluetooth speaker that doubled as a prop. The actors pretended to play and stop music using a smartphone, and the computer's sound also played from the speaker.

Lighting Design

The lighting design consisted of a dozen or so mini par cans hung all over the space to create a not-professionally-lit feel. The lighting doubled as part of the set, as the play is set in a random space in a warehouse, which accurately describes where we had the production. The lights were on for the entire preshow and show, and then turned off when a character turns off the light switch.
