In January 2017, I threw together a video essay about my favorite Line Rider tracks released over the past year. Over the course of the year it went semi-viral and launched a channel that had previously been mostly off-the-cuff livestream discussions of recent track releases between myself and OTDE. We rebranded the channel as Line Rider Review and started making more video essays.

OTDE and I reprised the Top 10 Line Rider Tracks video essay format the following year as a joint effort between the two of us. For the third installment, we recruited a panel of 9 artists and critics to nominate, rank, and review that year’s selections, solidifying the annual Top 10 Line Rider Tracks video essay as a tradition, which continued the following year.
